International Rose Club Dialogue

The International Rose Club Dialogue was held on 5th, June at the IESE Madrid Campus. The round table, that was moderated by Julia Pérez-Cerezo, took place on the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Spain and China and it counted on the special collaboration of IESE Business School, Horizon Research Consultancy Group and the press coverage of CCTV China Central Television.

The main goal of the round table was to promote the importance of women in current society, especially in Chinese society, taking into account the cultural changes that have taken place in recent decades.

The participants were: Hongyan Tu (President of Wensli Group and President of the Zhejiang Association of Women Entrepreneurs); Hong Zhu (President of Weikang Bio-medical), Li Zhu(Vice President of Heping Ophthalmic Hospital), Maria José Mainar (President of BPW (Business Professional Women) Spain), Ana López-Cancio (Director of Forja Formación y Gestión Empresarial) and Rana Ezzedine (CEO of Finixia).

All the speakers highlighted the important role of businesswomen in today’s society, the initial difficulties one has when starting their own business and the common challenges women all face regardless their nationality.
