Julia Pérez-Cerezo has been holding executive managerial positions since 1987, both in the public and private sectors. She has a great deal of experience of working in the professional services, consultancy and engineering sectors, both in her country of origin and at the International level. She has worked in the USA, in European Commission (EC) related issues, with European Union (EU) countries and, of course, in Spain, Portugal, Latin America and lately in China.

Since 1990 she has been a successful entrepreneur. The consultancy and engineering company that she founded in 1990 –Environment Transport & Planning- used to be participated by Radian Corporation -now part of URS- and was sold at the end of 1999 to CH2M HILL -one of the world leaders US firms in the sector-.
Since the year 2000, Julia has been the Managing Director of GV21, a professional services company specialized in executive search and in helping International companies to penetrate and establish themselves in foreign markets, in particular, since 2004 (when Julia moved to Beijing) in the Chinese market.
Since 2004 Julia has been working with China Team www.chinateam.com, first as International Advisor and lately as its Continental Europe Coordinator. China Team is a China's Premier Executive Search Firm and Winner of "China Recruitment Firm of the Year" award.

Julia has been a permanent independent advisor of the EC, since 1993. And was part of the special team established for the first Spanish Presidency of the EU (back in 1987-1988) and for the 2009-2010 Spanish Presidency of the EU. Since the year 2000, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of some relevant Multinational and Spanish groups, such as some of the International Venture Capital firm 3i’scompanies’ portfolio.
Julia Pérez-Cerezo is the author of “China’s New Leaders” (2010) www.lideditorial.com, also published in Spanish under the title “Emprendedoras Chinas”, which was presented at the Shanghai Expo in August 2010.

Julia is a native of Spain and holds a Master in Civil Engineering (Madrid, Spain), a Master of City and Regional Planning (Berkeley, CA, USA) and an Advanced Management Program (AMP/PADE) for Senior Executive Managers (IESE, Madrid, Spain).

Over the years, she has been very active in a number of relevant business and women associations. She manages the following languages: Spanish, English, French, German and spoken Chinese.
